Some facts about moi:
I have been doing freelance Product Design for (roughly) the last 4 years.
My background is actually in theatrical scenic design and art, and I spent 14 years working full-time for a theatre company that focused on young audiences. I was the head of my department there, but I felt it was time for a change and a fresh challenge. So, I accepted a 12-month role as a product designer, but unfortunately, I was laid off only 4 months into the job. Since then, I've been freelancing and taking on any design work I can do!
I am particularly interested in Non-Profit, Arts and Entertainment, and Education. The dream would be to find a Product Design role in a company that touches all 3.
I’m a lifelong learner! Currently, I’m taking classes in motion graphic design.
Drinking coffee has always been my stress reliever, and I’ve also been known to eat an entire bag of chocolate-covered pretzels.
